Liner Notes:
22 Years from Now was recorded on June 19th and 20th, 1996 in a secluded monastery chapel in upstate New York. My friend and recording engineer, Larry Helmeczy, discovered the space and helped arrange a couple of late night recording sessions there. We recorded in the downstairs crypt and the more spacious upstairs chapel. I enjoyed the secluded quietness and the acoustic qualities of the two rooms. Basically, my approach was to play and sing whatever I felt at the time, with the addition of a few composed and overdubbed selections. We recorded direct to DAT except on the overdub pieces with 2 Neumann microphones - a U47 and an SM69
